There are two bands with the name Contempt, one is from England and plays punk. This however is the Contempt from Rochester, New York, USA. Contempt was a vegan straight-edge band. On the back cover the singer is wearing a pro-life shirt, so I'm not sure if that was a whole band mindset, or just the individuals' mindset. They played a blend of heavy hardcore, set for those silly dances in the pit and metal. This CD contains 8 tracks and was first released on March Through Records, Germany and then on XCatalystX Records, USA, in 1997. (This download also contains a scan of the full booklet).
